VIX – Minor pop on Friday, puts it back near the pivotal “10” mark. 

T2108 (% of stocks trading below their 40-day moving average): Sideways on Friday. No major move – remains at 63%. Technology remain on a 4-day sell-off. 

Moving averages (SPX): Closed on the 5-day moving average.

Industries to Watch Today

Utilities trying to bounce around its 200-day MA. Defensive continues to coil, while Energy and Basic Materials are skyrocketing. 

My Market Sentiment

Rising trend-line off of the November lows, being tested today. Today’s closing price will be key in determining short-term direction moving forward.
