My Swing Trading Approach

Ahead of a weekend where there is a major hurricane hitting Florida and North Korea planning on another missile test, I don’t want to get heavy to the long side. I’ll look to keep a neutral portfolio into the weekend.

VIX – Flat yesterday, still trying to fade any and all pops. 

T2108 (% of stocks trading below their 40-day moving average) – Not an impressive bounce. Back down to 44%. 

Moving averages (SPX): No changes from yesterday. Still holding all the MAs except for the 5-day. 

Industries to Watch Today

Tech still my favorite sector, Financials by far the weakest of the bunch.
