Looking to ride my current positions. Will look to add a few more positions while increasing my stop-loss along the way. 

Indicators

VIX – Continues to drop, down 4 out of the last 5 days, and 7 out of the last 9, 16 out of the last 21. In essence, the bears continue to smash every inkling of strength that emerges. 

T2108 (% of stocks trading below their 40-day moving average) – 56% of stocks trading above the MA; that is a huge improvement, but still well below the levels we saw in July. 

Moving averages (SPX): Above all the MA’s now – follow the 5-day MA for short-term direction. 

Industries to Watch Today

Biotech sat out yesterday’s rally. Consumer Cyclical continues to look good, even financials are bouncing hard.
