I was burned on a trade today. I hedged my long positions with a short position because the market started to break down. Within minutes of this happening, the market went on a ridiculous tear to the upside to finish the day in the green. It didn't take long for me to get squeezed out

The charts on the Semiconductors simply look BAD! There is nothing redeeming about them here, and there are plenty of more earnings reports to come out on them still, including the big names like Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Nvidia (NVDA) and Intel (INTC).Â

This is by far one of the most difficult topics of trading stocks: Managing your emotions. I realize, as traders, we all have emotions that can affect are ability to trade, but it is how we deal with those emotions (i.e. Fear, Greed, Anxiety, Ego) that allows us to overcome them and become profitable traders.
Bitcoin is still crashing and there is no reason to be owning it at this point. If you are still buying it, you are likely doing so in hopes of it recapturing its old glory.
