Everything is quiet right now as everyone anxiously awaits the unemployment number. I'm guessing regardless of the number, we'll see a pretty heavy reaction to it. As it stands right now, futures are break-even with the Dow and Nasdaq each at 0 change, and the S&P slightly down at .25. No other noteworthy reports are scheduled
Good morning everyone - looks like we have some insecurity this morning as we await jobless claims. As it stands right now with the futures, the Dow is down 27 points, the Nasdaq is down 5.25 points, and the S&P is down 3.75. The Jobless Claims report that is set to be released at 8:30am
After Monday's strong rally, Wall Street isn't showing a huge desire to push the market higher as futures show the Dow currently down 26 points, 5 points on the Nasdaq and another 4 on the S&P. It has been a nice four days off from writing and trading, but it is nonetheless nice to be back into the swing of things. Expect volume to be very low this week, as we have another 3 1/2 days of trading, which means this week is likely to be ignored much like last week.
Last full day of market action before we have a 3 1/2 day weekend to take full advantage of! Today we will see extremely low trading volume as the big money has already cashed out and headed out to the Hamptons. For third day straight, we have a positive bias heading into the open with Futures

[Update:] Finally figured out why my stock screening software wasn't working and low-and-behold it wasn't an issue with anyone else except for me. Not the software's fault nor the anti-virus software that I installed this weekend. Instead it was the external hard drive that held all of my data came unplugged (at my own doing)
Sorry for getting this out to you so late this morning, I had a two-year old son up late last night 'teething' so I was the designated 'pillow' for him to lay on and he decided that he would sleep in a bit this morning - I'm not complaining though. Nonetheless, we have some positive
