With one eye on the Christmas Holiday and the long weekend that it brings, I’m doing my best to stay focused but it can be rather hard with all the family and friends that are rolling in to town. Nonetheless, I press on. Overnight, the Asian markets were up well over 1%, while European markets saw modest gains overall. Heading into the open, Futures are up 37 points on the Dow, 6.5 on the Nasdaq and 3.5 on the S&P. So the bullish holiday bias continues into today again.
We had a GDP report was better than expected even though the overal GDP was revised downward. At 10am we have existing home sales which will put another jolt into the lightly traded markets.
