JPM and INTC both reported solid numbers and boosted not only their own shares but that of the general markets considerably, heading into the open, with the Dow Futures up 109 points, NASDAQ up 24 points, and S&P up 15 points. Not a bad way at all for the bulls to start the day. Overnight, the Asian markets were up 1.5% to 2% on average with the Nikkei trading flat. European markets are currently doing well also trading with average gains of 2% off of the solid earnings.

Outside of the JPM earnings we also have ABT and EBAY as other notables reporting earnings today.

No trade setups today though, as the market is already seeing a huge gap up in price. By the way, does this open leave you at all uneasy – seems like on the bulls part, it could be too good to be true – and remember what you mom said about that?….Then it probably is!

Just a thought…
