Wall Street Nole’s Morning Stocks to Watch for Day-Trading
“Oh, the best part of waking up…
Earnings season is back!
Another Gaparooo this morning! Bulls are trying to stay alive but was yesterday selloff too much?
Big Ben is on the mic at 10:00 ET and housing data across the board is out today at 9 and 10.
Check out some of today’s highly anticipated stocks to day-trade while you have your morning coffee.
Morning Coffee – Day-Trading Watch-List | |
1 | $HD- I enjoy the large cap gappers. Home Depot beat earnings, approved a buy back and increased the dividend. The stock is up only a couple % in PM but I believe it will be in play with limited downside . One thing to consider is how far Lowes declined yesterday with the market. I don’t think we will see a similar performance today from HD. |
2 |
$OIS – This oil and nat gas play fell off very sharply with the market yesterday. It has struggled to get back to last weeks high and my be due for a downtrend. Keep an eye on this play and make sure volume warrants the trade. |
3 |
$M – I have enjoyed playing the retailers this year and Macy’s is a decent trader. I’ll be watching this gap up from earnings at the open. I will look to get long assuming it holds pre-market strength. |

Welcome to Swing Trading the Stock Market Podcast!
I want you to become a better trader, and you know what? You absolutely can!
Commit these three rules to memory and to your trading:
#1: Manage the RISK ALWAYS!
#2: Keep the Losses Small
#3: Do #1 & #2 and the profits will take care of themselves.
That’s right, successful swing-trading is about managing the risk, and with Swing Trading the Stock Market podcast, I encourage you to email me (ryan@shareplanner.com) your questions, and there’s a good chance I’ll make a future podcast out of your stock market related question.
In today's episode, I tackle a listener email covering a variety of swing trading topics, including the benefits of cash accounts, T+1 settlements, options trading using straddles, and even straddling the indices with leveraged ETFs. I'll also discuss whether new traders should be trading options and the ramifications that come with skipping over trading equities and jumping into options trading instead. Lots of insights packed into this one!
Be sure to check out my Swing-Trading offering through SharePlanner that goes hand-in-hand with my podcast, offering all of the research, charts and technical analysis on the stock market and individual stocks, not to mention my personal watch-lists, reviews and regular updates on the most popular stocks, including the all-important big tech stocks.
