Wall Street Nole’s Morning Stocks to Watch for Day-Trading
“Oh, the best part of waking up…
Happy New Year form the SharePlanner trading community. I hope it’s prosperous and successful for all.
Fitch came out this morning and warned of a possible downgrade below AAA bond status for the US. Futures dropped accordingly and now a mixed bag of economic data that came in at 8:30 giving pre-market a small pop.
Check out some of today’s highly anticipated stocks to day-trade while you have your morning coffee.
| Morning Coffee – Day-Trading Watch-List | |
| 1 | $DELL- A huge splash from Dell came out yesterday as talks of going private surfaced. Shares were up over 10% quick and have continued this morning. TPG and Silver Lake are said to be intersted in dealings as early estimates came in at over 20 billion of debt and equity to attempt this. Traders seem to be rushing in with a hope that competition ramps up for the bid. Pre-market trading is up another 5% from yesterdays close. |
| 2 | $LULU- Down sharply in pre-market as earnings were revised lower. As of 8:50 shares are trading at 67.80 which would put it below the 200EMA on the daily chart and a monthly low. Watch closely to seee if these levels hold. |
| 3 |
$DECK- A massive runner late yesterday afternoon brought this stock all the way up to a $38.20 close from a 36.40 open. Someone might know something that the public does not. I’ll be on close watch this morning for it. |
