1. Closed VZ today at $45.23 from $45.68 for a -1.0% loss.

2. Bought HAL today at $34.17.

3. Expect me to tighten the stop quite a bit tomorrow on SHLD after being up 8.5%

Notables:

  • Tech just refuses to take its head out of the sand: Today’s culprits are AAPL, DELL, QCOM, T, VZ
  • A lot of red in services and some in healthcare as well. 
  • Financials still leading the way.

I’m slightly adjusting the reading here. While we broke key support at 1430, we are so overextended short-term, I’d be shocked if we don’t bounce here real soon. 

And of course…the RIDICULOUS!

Despite the fact that he played on a high school football team that was personal rivals with my own, despite the fact he played on a college football team that I absolutely deplore, it seemed only appropriate that Tim Tebow plays for the NY Jets now, which just happens to be the arch-nemesis of my beloved Miami Dolphins. 

Nonetheless the guy has a heart of gold, and I have the utmost respect for the life he lives and the values he cherishes. His care for those unfortunate and the time he spends with them is incredibly admirable.
