Got into another short right at the close with Vodafone (VOD) at 19.62. The other position was SPDR Gold (GLD) which I went long in yesterday. It is at the cusp of breaking out, and should the markets continue to deteriorate, I believe that gold will be a ‘flight-to-safety’ play. However, I will say this, of all my positions, GLD is probably the one I feel the least confident about – so take my advice with a grain of salt.
Here are my two new positions.
LONG: SPDR GOLD (GLD)
SHORT: VODAFONE (VOD)
