It has been a rough start to the week for stocks in general – coming into the week there were a lot of stocks on the scans that I run with prices right at major resistance levels. With the sell-off that we have seen today and yesterday, there has been some major sell-offs in individual stocks at those key resistance levels. 

However, with the kind of market that we have been in over the last five years, it goes without saying, that unless something fundamentally changes this market, it is more than likely to see the weakness get bought up sooner rather than later, and at the moment there is no real news driver going against this market’s favor. 

As a result, I am not shorting any of the names you’ll find below just yet. I need to see more technical damage first on the indices. Perhaps a lower-low put in on the S&P 500. Until there is major technical damage, it is very hard to justify getting heavily short this market at this time.
