Twitter traders love to shamelessly pump and self-promote their ‘trading’ success

CBMX pump and dumpYou got to love how all these folks out there selling a newsletter seem to have prophet like skills of knowing every stock that is going to go up big in a given day and to be able to claim that they alerted everyone prior to. They do this for the simple reason of trying to get more subscribers.

You have to be careful out there with who you trust. There’s not a single site or trader on the list below that I’d be willing to throw any of my money at. Spiking the football and claiming your ability to net 100-300% on the trade and had you been a part of their subscription service you could’ve too, is simply an emotional ploy to ‘woo’ you over to their overpriced newsletter.

They are more of a ‘marketer’ than a ‘trader’.

Let’s put it another way, if they had some special way to net +100% on these trades on a consistent basis like they claim to do, you really think they’d be spending their time ‘tweeting’ it out to everyone, or would they be saving their ‘super-secret-recipe-for-stock-market-success’ all to themselves.

My thoughts exactly.

Most of the stocks that these people are promoting their success with, comes on the backs of their very own subscribers and followers in social media who blindly follow them into the stock, without regard for liquidity and price and left holding the bag while the stock comes back to earth, while the newsletter guys promote their ‘geniusness’.

Here’s some of my favorite tweets out there today….
