The Fed began their two day meeting yesterday, and after the sell-off that we saw that same day, I don’t expect them to put any earth-shattering announcement into their otherwise vanilla FOMC Statement that is scheduled for release at 2:15pm ET today (I usually post the statement within minutes of the announcement so check back at that time for the statement).
Along with the FOMC Statement you also have MBA Purchase Applications at 7am along with the EIA Petroleum Status Report, but as always, all eyes will be Fed.
I’ll be looking to add a couple of long positions to the portfolio today.
