Alright folks! We got T-Minus 1 Day until we get to sink our teeth into some turkey, mash potatoes and all those other good fixins’, but until then we have to put our minds towards getting through one more market session. Overnight, Asian markets were in positive territory to the tune of about a half percent, while European markets are doing much of the same. US Futures are in positive territory as well, with the Dow up 40 points, Nasdaq up 8.5 points, and the S&P hitting 6 points in the early going.
As always with these shortened weeks, there tends to be a lot more economic reports that come out the day before the holiday. So today we get that lovely Jobless Claims report at 8:30am EST along with Durable Goods Orders and Personal Income and Outlays. Right before 10am we get Consumer Sentiment reading followed by New Home Sales. So buckle up, because there is a lot of information that the market has to try and digest this morning.

Welcome to Swing Trading the Stock Market Podcast!
I want you to become a better trader, and you know what? You absolutely can!
Commit these three rules to memory and to your trading:
#1: Manage the RISK ALWAYS!
#2: Keep the Losses Small
#3: Do #1 & #2 and the profits will take care of themselves.
That’s right, successful swing-trading is about managing the risk, and with Swing Trading the Stock Market podcast, I encourage you to email me (ryan@shareplanner.com) your questions, and there’s a good chance I’ll make a future podcast out of your stock market related question.
Is it necessary to have a set position size with every trade that you take as a swing trader? Or can it be based on feelings and that gut instinct as to whether how successful or profitable a swing trade could be perceived as being? In this podcast episode, Ryan details why using a fluid position size approach is detrimental to long-term success as a trader.
