Like yesterday the market is showing some pre-market weakness heading into the open. However, it’s all a mute point until we get the Jobless Claims at 8:30, then we’ll get a better idea for where this market is heading. Asian markets are trading in a mixed fashion, but with averages about 1% in the red. European markets continue to trade flat-to-slightly negative. US Futures are showing the Dow down 42 points, NASDAQ down 8 points, and the S&P down 6 points. Along with the Jobless Claims, we have Leading Indicators and the Philadelphia Fed Survey at 10am – but the all important one is the Jobless Claims.

Just to reiterate from last night’s post – I have two long positions in KWK and PETS. If you want to read the write up on these, how I am trading them and why, then click here.
