I’m honestly surprised I was able to find anything for my watch-list of short candidates .But I did manage to squeak out a handful. My honest opinion of stocks at this point, is if you aren’t rallying, you are essentially a short candidate.

From the list below the ones that have the best setups are:

Leggett & Platt (LEG) which has a confirmed head and shoulders pattern, and continues to be on a perpetual downtrend since mid-May and it doesn’t look to be getting any better. A perpetual down turn in this market makes for an ideal short-candidate.

VF Corp (VFC) in a strong uptrend- since early January, has finally broken the trend and buyers should look to be getting out of this trade. Watch the 50-day moving average though as that could be a level of support for the stock as it has been in the past.

Celanese (CE) has a huge double top pattern in place that has been forming for all of 2013. The past two days has seen the stock give up its gains, after testing resistance at 47.67 and failing to push through.

Here are the rest of the stocks on my short watch-list
