My Swing-Trading Short Setups

I’ve been stating for most of last week, that despite the painful squeeze the bulls put on the bears after last Monday’s sell-off, little has been done to change or repair the damage that took place last Monday. While that can change with a break above 1521, it is nonetheless necessary to keep price action in perspective. As a result, it is not the right thing to do at this point, to write-off a more sustained pullback in the market and that is why keeping a current watch-list of stocks worth shorting is imperative to your trading success.

The top three short setups I’m following closely right now are:

Royal Caribbean Cruises (RCL): Possibly forming a head and shoulders pattern on the daily (currently forming what looks like a right shoulder. A push below $33.50 would be key.

Unilever N.V.(UN): Nice downward channel in the short term in place, and testing the upper channel band, offering a tight risk reward setup.

Chesapeake Energy (CHK): Broke short-term support, pushed lower and now has bounced right back into resistance for another ideal risk/reward setup.

Here are the remaining 17 stocks that I am watching for short swing-trades
