Wall Street Nole’s Morning Stocks to Watch for Day-Trading
“Oh, the best part of waking up…”
Happy New Year form the SharePlanner trading community. I hope it’s prosperous and successful for all.
With the fiscal cliff behind us the market boomed last week despite little intra-day movement. This week should show us how strong and valid the gains are. Yesterday’s morning coffee was spiked, as my runners stalled and put on the breaks for a reversal. 1460 is still the line in the sand on the S&P’s. Be aware of fakeouts and levels associated with this line.
Check out some of today’s highly anticipated stocks to day-trade while you have your morning coffee.
Morning Coffee – Day-Trading Watch-List | |
1 | $STX- We know this stock can fly and it’s up good in PM trading from preliminary fiscal second quarter financial results. Give this stock plenty of room though if you trade it today. It’s always tricky in its price patterns. |
2 | $DNKN- This stock came across my scans for the first time in months. It’s up about 2% in PM trading off of an upgrade. What’s even better is that the daily chart is really starting to trend well and is close to a 6 month high. I’ll look to this for breakout plays today. |
3 |
$ROSG- The pump of all pumps. It’s up 17% in PM trading today. Everytime this stock gets news it gives the bag holders a little bit of hope before crashing and burning to lower lows. Every trade room on the side street will be in this stock. I’ll watch and laugh from a distance. |

Welcome to Swing Trading the Stock Market Podcast!
I want you to become a better trader, and you know what? You absolutely can!
Commit these three rules to memory and to your trading:
#1: Manage the RISK ALWAYS!
#2: Keep the Losses Small
#3: Do #1 & #2 and the profits will take care of themselves.
That’s right, successful swing-trading is about managing the risk, and with Swing Trading the Stock Market podcast, I encourage you to email me (ryan@shareplanner.com) your questions, and there’s a good chance I’ll make a future podcast out of your stock market related question.
In today's episode, I explain whether it is a good idea or not to rapidly increase the size of your portfolio if you come across a sum of cash. A lot of traders will do this without ever recognizing the emotional toll it can have on you as a swing trader and the awful mistakes you can make in doing so.
Be sure to check out my Swing-Trading offering through SharePlanner that goes hand-in-hand with my podcast, offering all of the research, charts and technical analysis on the stock market and individual stocks, not to mention my personal watch-lists, reviews and regular updates on the most popular stocks, including the all-important big tech stocks.
