Wall Street Nole’s Morning Stocks to Watch for Day-Trading
“Oh, the best part of waking up…”
I hope everyone had a great Christmas as I’m ready to rock today despite what is still percieved as a lack luster and untrusting market.
The biggest news yesterday that I could find is that the President cut his vacation short to return to the white house to work on a possible solution for the fiscal cliff. Maybe it wasn’t a big deal a couple days ago and it suddenly is now. Also, just in case you missed it, someone posted a fake twitter account of Former Hedge fund manager Julian Robertson stating that he was leery of the short position taken by Ackman on HLF.
Now that you have fallen asleep based on the most worthless news above, grab some coffee and check out these morning watchers.
Check out some of today’s highly anticipated stocks to day-trade while you have your morning coffee.
Morning Coffee – Day-Trading Watch-List | |
1 | $SINA- Big drop in pre-market trading. The daily chart shows that this could be a steep drop after the third pillar of retreaced lows. |
2 | $RAD- A sweet mover for the micro cap players. Seeking alpha also came out with a nice article to pump the stock. This some much needed momo since posting it’s first profit last week in over 5 and a half years. This stock is gapping up about 6% in PM trading. |
3 |
$AOL- What first looked like a possible run to gap fill has turned into a stock that is hanging for dear life on it’s 200EMA. I’ll be watching for the $30 and $29.50 breakdowns on this stock. |

Welcome to Swing Trading the Stock Market Podcast!
I want you to become a better trader, and you know what? You absolutely can!
Commit these three rules to memory and to your trading:
#1: Manage the RISK ALWAYS!
#2: Keep the Losses Small
#3: Do #1 & #2 and the profits will take care of themselves.
That’s right, successful swing-trading is about managing the risk, and with Swing Trading the Stock Market podcast, I encourage you to email me (ryan@shareplanner.com) your questions, and there’s a good chance I’ll make a future podcast out of your stock market related question.
In today's episode, I explain whether it is a good idea or not to rapidly increase the size of your portfolio if you come across a sum of cash. A lot of traders will do this without ever recognizing the emotional toll it can have on you as a swing trader and the awful mistakes you can make in doing so.
Be sure to check out my Swing-Trading offering through SharePlanner that goes hand-in-hand with my podcast, offering all of the research, charts and technical analysis on the stock market and individual stocks, not to mention my personal watch-lists, reviews and regular updates on the most popular stocks, including the all-important big tech stocks.
