After a pretty solid week and a good start to this week from the bulls, let’s see what industries have been leading the way over the past month. Below is the top ten and bottom ten industries and their performance over the past month. On the bullish side, commodities are tearing it up with Gold, Copper, and Silver leading the way. Besides commodities, heath-care realted fields are taking up another three spots – It should be interesting to see in the coming days, how the markets react to psycho-path Pelosi passing the socialist healthcare bill and the Senate’s attempt to ram it down the throats of Americans pass it through for President Carter Obama to sign it into law. Stocks like United Healthcare (UNH) could be in for some problems as a result.

On the bottom of the totem pole you have some more health-care related fields, as well as retail, which is surprising considering Christmas is right around the corner, and the financial sector – which tends to be a guage on the overall health of the markets.
Welcome to Swing Trading the Stock Market Podcast!
I want you to become a better trader, and you know what? You absolutely can!
Commit these three rules to memory and to your trading:
#1: Manage the RISK ALWAYS!
#2: Keep the Losses Small
#3: Do #1 & #2 and the profits will take care of themselves.
That’s right, successful swing-trading is about managing the risk, and with Swing Trading the Stock Market podcast, I encourage you to email me (ryan@shareplanner.com) your questions, and there’s a good chance I’ll make a future podcast out of your stock market related question.
Is it necessary to have a set position size with every trade that you take as a swing trader? Or can it be based on feelings and that gut instinct as to whether how successful or profitable a swing trade could be perceived as being? In this podcast episode, Ryan details why using a fluid position size approach is detrimental to long-term success as a trader.
Be sure to check out my Swing-Trading offering through SharePlanner that goes hand-in-hand with my podcast, offering all of the research, charts and technical analysis on the stock market and individual stocks, not to mention my personal watch-lists, reviews and regular updates on the most popular stocks, including the all-important big tech stocks.
