I’m trying to update this chart as much as possible these days, as I know there are a lot of traders out there, who prefer not to short stocks, and would rather find a couple of defensive plays to put their money in which will collect a descent dividend and hold their value at the same time. So then, I’ve run my screen below on the 24 best defensive plays out there right now. My favorite of all the stocks below is unquestionably McDonald’s (MCD) which keeps on putting in new highs on the stock despite the market showing a lot of bearish behavior.
