Market opened low to start the day, and from there it rallied into the close. All of the major indexes finished in the green, with the NASDAQ leading the way. Strong sign for the market as investors were able to ignore the not so merry news that Christmas retail numbers were at best, anemic. Volume, across the board, will be extremely light, but the market is likely to rally most of the week as the tendency is, at this time of the year.
