Should you be short selling stocks into their earnings report?

Let me just tell you that shorting stocks is a risky endeavor, and if you are shorting companies into their earnings reports, you are setting yourself up for massive failure. For one, earnings reports are pretty much unpredictable on a large scale. Shorting into the unknown like that sets you up for a major capital drawdown.
