Stocks Flying Under the Radar (12/12/09)

Here’s a new stock screen for all of you to munch on this weekend – I’m basically looking for stocks that have a book value per share that is more than its price per share (i.e. less than “1”). Also, I wanted only those stocks that are showing in increase in interest from the institutions (i.e. they are gobbling up the shares), along with the volume to support it.

A few of them that really stick out to me as nice setups are Skywest (SKYW), Atlas Air Worldwide (AAWW), Charming Shoppes (CHRS), Kt Corporation (KTC), and Metlife (MET) – all five of the ones I just mentioned offer nice low risk-high reward setup opportunities. Come Monday I will probably buy a few of these.
