Here’s one of your more traditional “Buffett-like” stock screens where I am essentially looking for companies selling well below their book value. With the market being as overbought as it currently is, it would be nice to find those stocks that are still considered under-valued. The stocks below represent those companies that are trading at less than half its book value.
A couple of them worth keeping a close eye one, is Whitney Holding (WTNY) which is setup for a potential breakout play, as is Seahawk Drilling (HAWK). Winn-Dixie (WINN) has a possible breakout scenario with it, but keep a tight stop-loss on that one – just below the 9/17 lows. Lastly, Imation (IMN) has developed a cup and handle pattern that confirmed on the Tuesday rally.
