I am in the process of implementing some new charting software over the course of the next few months. Currently I use a myriad of services for screening my stocks, from Stockcharts, to some stuff that Microsoft has, to a few low-profile software providers you’ve probably never heard of before. In the past, it worked for me, and it probably still would going forward. But recently I started looking into Worden’s Telechart and StockFinder software, and decided to give it a test run, and I must say I am thoroughly impressed. At first I was a little hesitant about whether I could get much additional use out of it compared to what I am using right now, but I must say, that after attending a seminar on the software in Orlando, where they show you how to operate their software, I was shocked by how much stuff that it was packed with, and the intelligence and logic used in developing the software.

Don’t get me wrong, it is going to take some time for me to get up to speed on it, but I think in the end, by manipulating the software just the way I like, I believe that SharePlanner is going to be able to provide a whole lot more info to its readers (that being You of course!). Analysis of industries, stock scans and the daily morning watch-list will be so much more powerful and  helpful to your every day trading. So I am very excited about using it, it is pricey ($110/month including exchange fees) compared to what I have used in the past, but I could hardly careless, as what I am getting far exceeds the price that I am paying.

Also, something that I plan on doing is possibly allowing readers to come up with trading ideas/systems and I will back-test them for them and provide the results – so if you have any ideas you want me to back test for you, shoot them over to me on our contact page and I’d be happy to assist – but make sure you are specific!

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!
