Listen, if I thought for a minute, that stricter gun control laws would mean less crime, murder, rape and pillage, i would be all for it. Sign me up. But it doesn’t do that. Country after country, state after state and city after city has proven that. The areas with the strictest gun control laws have the highest crime rates with guns. Restricting the sale and purchase of guns to law abiding citizens only stacks the odds that much more in the criminal’s hands. Take this particular fella in Chicago, where two thugs walked in to his store and shoot him in the leg in the process. The store owner was left to defend himself with a baseball bat.
Lucky for him, he did a great job of using that Louisville Slugger.
Here’s the point… Gun control leads to innocent people being killed. It only controls the guns in the hands of innocent and law-abiding citizens and does nothing to keep criminals from acquiring them.
Had this guy been equipped with a glock, there would be two less criminals on the street tonight.
