Seriously, I don’t know why you would, but if you want to short a dull market, then be my guest.

I’ll even help you with my list of short setups that I post every week. But I’ll tell ya right now, I don’t have a single short position in my portfolio. But I do think it is worth keeping updated, just in case the status quo does change, because right now, outside of Fed news, there isn’t really anything threatening the market.

And the buyers really aren’t even all that interested in the market as you can see by the low volume that continues to permeate, however, individual trades, like my new trade in the Swing-Trading Splash Zone Twitter (TWTR) or the one I missed, but had been watching for over a week Square (SQ), can be had in these low volume scenarios. 

Shorting though? I’m not a fan of it – I need some panic, some fear to make its way in, then you have a market worth shorting. Right now though, you don’t have that.
