Best Brokerage That I've Used-To-Date

I've used TOS for years now and find them one of the most customer friendly brokers on the net. They really try hard to put their customers as a priority. However, I would also add that with the acquisition by TDAmeritrade, the quality of order fills have gone down some. There was also a 3-4 hour downtime during market hours not too long ago as well.

Short-selling is great with these guys, you can ask them to find your shares if they are hard to borrow, and they will make every attempt to do so.

They also have some of the best options tools available too.

One thing I would do to make their software better, is to invest some money into their stock screener. Make it more flexible with more tools, like Worden does with their stock screener.

Good but could be better

There are very few big name brokerages out there. These guys are one of them. ThinkorSwim was better off with out the complete merger into TDAmeritrade. Unfortunately they have some of the better tools in the industry. There are a few things they could improve on to make the service better.

My Current Broker

I've used TOS since it was acquired by TD. I really like their customer service. I was actually just on the phone and they are very helpful. I can't complain about anything. Since teaming up with TD...they offer a lot of educational services as well. Great Software. It was a little complicated but once you understand how to use their tools...you'll find it hard to switch to something else.

No Problem Here

I like TOS much more before tehy got acquired by TD - but still a very dependable broker. I don't plan on changing any time soon. Every once and a while though, they will do something that really ticks you off. I use them primarily for options and futures. Equities they are ok for.
