Interesting perspective...I wasn't thinking of it that way, simply because I didn't know that.

I was eyeing the fact that this could be the third time it touched the underside of the 50 day, and if it is true that a stock won't break a trend the first time around, (it will test a break first) the combo of it slightly peaking above the trend last time and the long green candle at end of day on Friday got my attention. I'll certainly note your observation as it does make sense! Thanks for the tip!

Regards to CHK...yeah I have been in this stock for over a year and a half as a dividend position, it moves fairly well so I'm in and out several times a day taking small gains. Monday and Tues this week it looked to me like it wanted to drop further because it kept making lows.
